Get inspired by the best

We know the theory,
let’s put it into practice

We all know that learning through examples is the best and that is why we have prepared two examples of cover letters that respond to the Career Centre’s Research job posting. Pay attention to how both candidates neatly work with key words and argumentation, using the space to not only present themselves, but to also explain their motivation for working at the company.

This is the job posting which the cover letters respond to. Keywords are highlighted.

Researcher at the Career Centre

Your tasks:

  • Data collection and analysis on the needs and expectations of our target groups (high school students, MU students and alumni, employers)
  • Detailed analysis of the feedback on our services, products, and events
  • Helping all the teams identify key areas for innovation

Requirements:

  • Proactive approach – if you identify an area that could be improved, you proactively suggest its innovation. If you see an opportunity that makes sense from the research perspective, you take it.
  • Innovative thinking – you are not afraid to experiment and try new things.
  • Communicative – you will talk a lot with colleagues, but also with customers, ranging from high school students to employers.
  • Qualitative and quantitative researchquestionnaires, semi-structured interviews, research or any of the design methods; all of which you have ideally done before.
  • Data analysis and interpretation – the ability to analyse and to present the collected data in a way that is understandable to non-researchers.
